Environmental protection is a growing concern. The effects of global climate change and pollution can no longer be ignored. Buildings are one of the largest consumers of energy and resources and, as such, represent a significant opportunity for environmental preservation and remediation.

At SEPW Architecture Inc. we are committed to:

* Reduced energy consumption in our buildings
* Reduced construction waste
* Reduced site erosion and groundwater contamination
* Maximized indoor environmental quality
* Use local and/or recycled content products when possible
* Consider life-cycle costing for every project

|LEED ®|

The North American Standard for Green Building is the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) developed by the United States Green Building Council and endorsed by the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC). Through a point system, buildings can be compared and rated. LEED® has a professional accreditation program which ensures a professional's knowlege and competance with the LEED® program and sustainable building practices in general.

The SEPW team includes LEED® Accredited Professionals. Moreover, our portofolio boasts LEED® Certified projects to both the Silver and, soon to be certified, Gold standards.
