Planning commenced in November 2000 for a proposed hotel expansion that would take place in conjunction with a proposed casino and parkade development. Following various schematic feasibility studies, Temple Gardens Mineral Spa decided to proceed with a hotel expansion comprising 87 new guestrooms across the road from the existing hotel. The design also included a laundry facility, Hospitality Room, and Administration Offices.

The expansion is connected with the existing hotel by a two level overhead walkway. One level is climate controlled, while the level above is open air and roofed.

Hotel guestrooms are situated above a two-storey parkade serving the hotel. A lobby area connects the hotel expansion to a new casino built next to the hotel expansion.

The new facility is designed to accomidate two additional floors of guestrooms, providing 58 future guestrooms.

North and East facing guestrooms have balconies affording views to downtown Moose Jaw and Crescent Park.

The architectural apperance of the addition reflects the architecture of the existing building, ensuring a new cohesive development for downtown Moose Jaw.
