This multipurpose facility adds 8160m2 (87,830 ft2) of new area to the north side of the existing Queensbury Centre and was used for the Canada Summer Games as the wrestling venue. Major events such as the Farm Progress Show, Buffalo Days and Agribition use the facility for exhibition space. During the winter season the prime user is the Regina Soccer Association.

A clear span multi-use / soccer space of 70m x 110m accommodates a large playing surface of 99m x 63m (108yards x 69yards. The space is dividable by curtaining into 4 quadrants. Spectator viewing is accommodated at the perimeter of the multi-use space and on a viewing Mezzanine (350m2 (3760ft2)). Washrooms, storage and a reception/entrance area are located immediately adjacent to the multi-use space.

The new addition is a pre-fabricated steel structure with standing seam metal roof. Wall systems comprise pre-cast concrete panels to 3m heights with pre-finished metal composite metal wall panels above. The new multi-use space floor is concrete to accommodate a variety of events and is covered with removable XL-Pro turf for soccer use. Power and water serviced for various uses are provided at the perimeter and at strategic locations in the centre of the floor.

Within the existing Queensbury Centre building a food and beverage area was developed in the former Main Floor casino space to serve the multi-use space and during Exhibition Park events.  This includes a full-service kitchen and two concessions including a Tim Horton’s. The west part of the existing Main Floor space is renovated to form space for showers and 16 changing rooms of various sizes.

On the Second Floor of Queensbury Centre the existing grandstand seating area was converted into 3 large salons and 3 smaller meeting rooms. The Lobby and entrance areas of the Queensbury Convention Centre were also upgraded as part of the project. The completed facility provides Regina Exhibition Park with a complete convention package for special events of all sizes.
